Dublin Paranormal Convention 2009 Print E-mail

It's a bit late but better late then never. Dublin Paranormal Convention 2009 was a great day from start to finish, it was held on the 7th November 2009 in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel. There was a great selection of stalls from teams, mediums and vendors. There was also a great varity of speakers on the day which covered a range of topics from 'How not to investigate the paranormal' and ufos to the paranormal side of the jack the ripper story.

There was a great two part talk from Steve Parsons(Para.Science) and Dr. Ciaran O'Keeffe(Most Haunted Live) on 'How not to investigate the paranormal' which opened a  lot of peoples eyes as to the way a lot of investiagtors are incorrectly using equipment while investigating locations. There was also a great talk from Barry Fitzgerald of Ghost Hunters International on 'Broad Spectrum Camera Technology'.

The lads from Blather.net where back again with their quirky and fun talk, it was a great 60 minutes. There was also SweepsFox from Irishufology.net who gave a chat on UFOs, aliens and remote viewing among other things, anyone interested in fringe sciences would have thoroughly enjoyed this talk. There were many other great talks on the day as well.

The day was continued on for a select few with an investigation in Wicklow Gaol. This was as a very enjoyable night with a great bunch of people at it of which some people had experiences.

I would like to say a big thank you to the PIGs for a great convention and night in Wicklow Gaol.
